A Manila court ordered the arrest of Peter Joemel Advincula, alias “Bikoy,” for his failure to attend the arraignment and preliminary conference for his perjury case on July 21.

The Manila Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 17 also ordered to forfeit the bail Advincula posted in January, 2021 for his non-appearance in court despite the notice sent to him.
“Issue a warrant of arrest against him with bail; set double the amount of the previous bail posted by the accused,” read the court order signed by Presiding Judge Karla Funtila-Abugan.
Advincula’s bail was set at P18,000 by the METC Branch 17 in its January 18 arrest warrant.
The new tentative schedule for the arraignment and preliminary conference for Advincula’s perjury case was set on August 26 at 8:30 a.m.
On January 12, the Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a perjury case against Advincula “over lies he allegedly stated in his testimonies concerning the ‘Ang Totoong Narcolist’ video series.”
