Cops distribute 200 pairs of slippers to poor kids in Davao de Oro
Policemen assigned in Davao de Oro province have distributed more than 200 pairs of slippers to the poor children of Maragusan town.
Together with other stakeholders, particularly the Monkayo National High School alumni batch ’95, the police officers also distributed burgers which was a rare treat for the kids who come from poor families in the barangay.
PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar lauded the good deed of the personnel from the Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay-Maragusan Cluster Seven, saying it is proof that there are far more number of good policemen.
“This is small deed that I really appreciate because it shows our personnel’s concern on the poor children,” said Eleazar.
“I hope that this will be replicated in other units in coming up with more ideas to help the people in the community particularly the poor and those in need,” he added.
