50 girls vie for Miss Filipinas Int'l, Miss Filipina Teen in California on July 31

Miss Filipina International and Miss Filipina Teen, the premier Filipina global pageants in the United States, in cooperation with the Philippines Department of Tourism, are proud to announce that the coronation night for their 2021 Miss Filipina and Miss Filipina Teen events are set at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Theater, Redondo Beach, California on July 31.


The event marks the successful return of the Miss Filipina International and Miss Filipina Teen pageants, which were last held in 2019 and did not hold events last year due to the global health situation.


The grand coronation night shall be hosted by the Philippines’ ‘Concert Queen’, Ms. Pops Fernandez and ‘Concert King’, Mr. Martin Nievera starting at 5 p.m.


A total of 50 candidates -- 23 in Miss Filipina International and 27 in Miss Filipina Teen -- are vying for the titles in this year’s prestigious pageant competition.


The preliminary competition, which includes Parade of National Costumes, Talent Competition, Swimsuit and Evening Gown Competitions, and the awarding of Miss Photogenic and Miss Top Model, shall be held in the same venue on July 30 at p.m.


Tickets to the pageant are available on www.missfilipinaintl.com starting at $65. Grand winners will win a round-trip ticket to the Philippines for a two-week all expense-paid experience.

In 2019, Cheyanne Knight won the Miss Filipina International crown, while Thereze Dacanay took home theMiss Filipina Teen distinction.

Miss Filipina International is a worldwide search for those special young women in today's Filipino communities around the globe with the beauty, grace and dynamic personalities, and intelligence that set them apart from the rest.


The pageant has earned the unique distinction of being the only one of its kind with tourism promotion as its fundamental core value, and also holds the status of being the only US-Filipino pageant to have been nationally televised in each of its seven years in existence.


This international competition has featured candidates from Filipino communities around the world, including France, Spain, Japan, Zambia, Germany, Canada, and all over the USA. It embraces the mission of bringing Filipinos together from around the world to celebrate the wonders of our beautiful island nation. The event is broadcast internationally by ABS-CBN network's The Filipino Channel (TFC) to a subscriber base of over three million homes.
