Lambino cites Duterte admin's gains on infrastructure, economic recovery

Presidential Adviser for Northern Luzon Raul Lambino cited the administration's "Build Build Build" projects as one of the significant gains of the Duterte administration.
In a statement on Monday July 19, Lambino said that he presented the ongoing various infrastructure projects in Cagayan Freeport such as three-story commercial center and another three-story corporate center which are both equipped with internet connectivity, CEZA Global City, the 21-hectare Alpha Palawig complex, the ongoing rehabilitation and expansion of the 49-year-old Port Irene and the newly completed new wharf in Port San Vicente which will allow inter-island ships to dock at the deep-water port facing the Marvelous Palaui Island.
Aside from infrastrcuture projects, Lambino also cited the free college education, economic recovery programs and the establishment of Malasakit Centers nationwide as the other accomplishments.

During the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) conference in Cauayan City, Isabela, Lambino noted that CEZA’s efforts to build various infrastructures in Cagayan Freeport will contribute to the economic development of region 2 as he encouraged the mayors to establish their respective economic zones in their municipalities.
“I am willing to help you in exploring possibilities for business and investments like what we are doing in CEZA,” Lambino said.
Lambino, who is also the administrator and chief-executive-officer of Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA), was invited by LMP national president and Narvacan, Ilocos Sur Mayor Luis ‘Chavit’ Singson to demonstrate to the Region 2 municipal mayors how the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport (CSEZFP) in Sta. Ana, Cagayan realized its rapid growth and transformation despite challenges brought by the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
The presidential adviser also cited Singson, Senator Bong Go, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre Bello III who was at the LMP conference for “their vision and dedication in order to contribute to the country’s economic growth.’’ (Chito A.
