The number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the country rose to 1,513,396 on Monday, July 19 with the addition of 5,000 more new cases.

The Department of Health (DOH) case bulletin showed 5,651 new cases.
Total recoveries also rose to 1,439,049 with the addition of 5,332 new recoveries.
Seventy-two new deaths were also reported which brought the total number of deaths to 26,786.
The DOH said 10 duplicates were removed from the total case count as seven of these were recoveries.
"Moreover, 88 cases previously tagged as recoveries have been validated to be active cases and 39 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation," it said.
The Health department said all labs were operational on July 17, while six labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).
"Based on data in the last 14 days, the six non-reporting labs contribute, on average, 0.4 percent of samples tested and 1.0 percent of positive individuals," the DOH said.
