Richard Gomez on catching COVID-19: 'I'll be okay'

Actor-turned-public servant Richard Gomez recently tested positive for COVID-19.

Despite this, the Ormoc City Mayor assured his supporters that he is "okay."

“I tested positive for Covid. It could be my exposure from multiple people because of work I do as mayor,” the mayor said in a message sent to the media.

“I will need a lot of rest and will have to be in isolation until I’m better. Symptoms are mild and manageable, and I will go back to work as soon as doctors will give the clearance. I ask everyone to continue to be vigilant and safe," Gomez added.

Recall that last May when Richard had his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
