We dream, we desire and we deliver!
The desire for us to dream big have brought us a long way.
That's just what happened to former journalist Dr. Alvin Sahagun who is now president of his own company dubbed We Evolve Marketing Philippines.
Dr. Alvin did not stop dreaming. He didn't inherit a huge wealth, but he pursued his dream. He's a product of handwork, perseverance and loyalty.
"Dream your biggest dreams. Conquer your Goliath. That's what I tell my friends," said Dr. Alvin during an interview at Okada Manila recently.
Sahagun started his career as a journalist at Radyo Veritas. He was inspired by his late father Joe Sahagun, a former station manager of Radyo ng Bayan and the Free Press.
"My dad was very good. Pero I don't want to be a shadow of my father. I want to make it on my own," he said.

After several years, he resigned from the popular media entity.
Dr. Alvin had a hunch that he would be successful in sales. "Sales is my line. Dito ako mas bagay."
Then he became sales representatives of banks, insurance, and real estate. Not contented, he became an agent for a printing press.
Later, Dr. Alvin built his own printing company, but it was shut down. Jobless, he had a hard time making both ends meet for his family, he said.
One day, after he prayed at a church, met a former colleague who introduced him to networking.
His friend lent him P500 as a start-up for networking. "It doubled, and then it multiplied." The rest is history.
Dr. Alvin transferred from one networking company o another until he founded We Evolve Marketing Philippines.
Soon, the company will launch the cosmetics line of a popular showbiz personality.

Aside from the make-up line, his company distributes collagen, serum and rejuvenating skin care products.
"Our company will expand in Papua New Guinea this month," he said.
Dr. Alvin, who also became known as Dr. Hope for helping the needy, said that his networking company reached out to the poor at the height of the pandemic.
"One of my favorite characteristics that you need to develop as a leader in the network marketing industry is having a high Emotional Quotient (EQ). Why? Because this is a social business, and you'll be meeting different types of people, the good ones and the worse.
"There are bad people and unfortunate events we can't control that shall come along into our lives whether we like it or not, but how we react or respond shall really make a big difference in the end. Huwag kang "balat sibuyas", stop the drama and learn to see the positivity in every negative. Remember, there will always be an opportunity in every disaster. So stay strong, move forward and rule yourself to success!" Dr. Alvin added.
Recently, Dr. Alvin was awarded Outstanding Social Entrepreneur of the Year at the 4th Asia-Pacific Luminaire Awards. On Aug. 20, he will receive the Gintong Parangal Award at the Manila Hotel.
In reminding the public, Dr. Alvin quoted a Biblical verse: "Don't lose hope and always keep the faith! Always remember when you do things with love you can conquer even the impossible! - 1 Corinthians 13:13."
