PRC: 5,008 passers in July 2021 Nurse Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, July 16, announced that 5,008 out of 7,746 passed the July 2021 Nurse Licensure Examination.

The said examination was given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Based on the list released by the Commission, the following garnered the ten highest places in the said examination:

The Commission said based on Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice."

"From August 17 to September 20, 2021, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line," it said.

"Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration," added PRC.

It also reminded those who will register to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), two pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope.

"Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals," said PRC.
