Pacquiao to Quiboloy: 'Hindi ganyan si Jesus Christ'; He never preached lies
Senator Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao has taken exception to what he calls are "fabricated stories" against him by religious leader Apollo Quiboloy.
"Si Quiboloy, gumagawa sila ng fabricated story (Quiboloy is making up fabricated stories)," Pacquiao said in an interview over radio DZBB on Friday, July 16.

"Hindi ko nga alam, nangangaral ka sa salita ng Panginoon tapos ganyan ka? Hindi ganyan si Jesus Christ (I don't know, he preaches the word of God but why does he act like that? Jesus Christ is not like that)," he added.
Pacquio particularly denied Quiboloy's supposed claim that he "pocketed" P3.5 billion from his sports center project in Sarangani province, which he represented before being elected as a senator.
He said the appropriations under laws only ranged from P350 million to P500 million.
During his press briefing last July 3, Pacquiao rebutted Quiboloy's allegation that he got his college degree in Political Science in just three months.
"Nagtuturo ka pa naman ng salita ng Panginoon tapos nanghuhusga ka na. Si Jesus hindi nanghuhusga ng tao, kahit makasalanan 'yong tao hindi nambabatikos (You are teaching the word of God yet you are judging people. Jesus is not quick to judge, even if the person was full of sins)," he told Quiboloy.
Quiboloy, who claims to be the "appointed son of God", is a friend of President Duterte.
Pacquiao irked Duterte when he started criticizing the current administration's position on the territorial dispute with China and calling out corruption in government. He previously clarified that he was not attacking Duterte but was only helping him in his anti-corruption drive.
Pacquiao surmised that the issues being floated against him only aimed to distract him from his upcoming fight with Errol Spence in the US.
"I'm sure that's what they want to do, trying to distract me, trying to distract my focus for the fight...para matalo ako (So I would lose). Hindi naman pinanganak kahapon lang...syempre nage-expect 'yan na sana matalo si Manny Pacquiao (I am not born just yesterday, I know they are expecting Manny Pacquiao to get defeated)," he said.
