The Muntinlupa City government on Friday resumed first dose vaccination at its Festival Mall site located at the upper ground floor parking in Alabang.
According to the Muntinlupa City COVID-19 Vaccination Program (MunCoVac), the vaccination covers A1 (health workers), A2 (senior citizens), A3 (persons with comorbidities), A4 (essential workers) and A5 (poor population) priority groups.

The resumption came three days after MunCoVac held the first dose vaccination at Festival Mall using the AstraZeneca vaccine last July 13.
As of July 15, the total number of people who have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Muntinlupa has reached 160,884 or 42 percent of the target city population of 385,725.
Of the total, 10,999 are from A1, 19,773 from A2, 65,820 from A3, 55,201 from A4, and 9,091 from A5.
By vaccine brand, 104,193 or 65 percent got Sinovac Life Sciences’ CoronaVac; 24,565 received Pfizer-BioNTech; 27,047 were given AstraZeneca; 2,979 got Sputnik V; and 2,100 received Moderna.
In addition, 77,883 individuals are now fully vaccinated in Muntinlupa after receiving their second dose, or 20 percent of the target population. The total consists of 6,778 in A1, 13,622 in A2, 44,142 in A3, and 10,486 in A4.
By vaccine brand, 54,399 or 69.8 percent received CoronaVac; 18,128 were given Pfizer-BioNTech; 2,934 with Sputnik V; and 2,422 with AstraZeneca.
On Thursday, MunCoVac apologized to the public for the delay in the vaccination roll out especially for those who were scheduled to receive the second dose.
“We expect the arrival of additional vaccines including Pfizer and Sinovac this July. Once the supply arrives, the MunCoVac team will immediately send text messages for the new vaccination appointment,” it said.
The Department of Health (DOH) said the administration of the second dose can be done three to six months after the first dose.
