Edward Barber gets 'wish' for his 21st birthday

Popular Kapamilya actor and host Edward Barber turned 21 on July 15 but got his birthday wish nine days ahead.



Guesting in a Kumu show weeks before, Edward was asked about what he wanted for his special day: "Gusto ko mawala na ito, itong Covid."



Realizing that his wish was like shooting for the moon, he quickly added: "Eto na lang... chance nyo to get the vaccine. Kahit anong vaccine. Yong magpapabakuna tayong lahat, para mawala na ang pandemic."



This outstanding man walks his talk as without hesitation he got his Sinovac jab on July 7 in one of the vaccination hubs in Taguig City, and he has the picture to prove it.

The birthday boy has been championing the Covid-19 shots for protection, not only of the vaccine, but the family and the community, as well.

 

In his May appearance in a Fil-Am radio show based in Los Angeles to promote his international show 'Fresh Take" shown over IWant TFC and MYXGlobal, he thanked his followers that in the middle of the pandemic, "they are still watching", "still supporting".

 

To give back to his supporters, Edward said: "Hoping and praying that all of you are safe and makakuha na ng vaccine.. at the right time we will go back to old normal with new changes, with improvement in our hearts and the society around us."
