Aw, so cute: Pet dog 'Bingo' donates blood to save PCG canine 'Kat-Kat'
A pet dog tugged at netizens' heartstrings on social media after it donated blood to save a Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) working canine who had a medical condition.
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) lauded pet dog “Bingo” on Friday, July 16, for donating blood to save "Kat-Kat," a female PCG working dog, who had to undergo a minor medical procedure.

In a Facebook post, the PCG expressed gratitude to pet owner Viena Claire Conde for allowing his fur baby to donate blood for the PCG service dog. The procedure happened last Saturday, July 10.
According to the PCG, Kat-Kat is part of the Coast Guard K9 Team Station Dipolog.
Although it was not specified what happened to Kat-Kat, the PCG said the blood donation would be a big help for the service dog's recovery.
The PCG said Kat-Kat is tasked to maintain security and safety at ports and coasts in Dipolog, Zambonga del Norte.
As of Friday, the Coast Guard working dog was already recovering.
