PCG conducts feeding program, distributes medicines for children in Surigao del Sur
Personnel of Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Auxiliary District Northeastern Mindanao have conducted a feeding program for the children of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

In a statement, the PCG said at least 100 children of Maglambing Elementary School received hot meals and vitamins in Tagbina, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur on Sunday, July 11.
The PCG said the initiative provided the needs of the children by giving healthy food and medicines to give priority to their health and immune system amid coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

“This is a regular activity of PCGA in Northeastern Mindanao, headed by Captain Elmer Hindap who always assist and support the PCG, to conduct more of this kind of activity—providing the needs of Filipino community especially the people of CARAGA,” the Coast Guard added.
