'Time to spread your wings'—Carmina Villaroel cries as son Mavy leaves

It's always hard to let go of the ones you love, most especially when it comes to our children who have already grown up to be independent. They need to grow on their own, but the parent in us have a hard time letting go—always.

This is what happened recently to Carmina Villaroel who posted videos of her crying as her son Mavy hugs her tight. "All grown up. Time for you to spread your wings my forever baby boy, Mavy. Always remember that we are here for you and we are all proud of you! Enjoy! I miss you already," Caminra posted, referring to her son's very first lockdown taping. "First time kang malalayo samin. We love you, kuya!"
