This tattoo artist offers discounted service to save his brother

Tattoo for a cause, anyone?

They say that a person can do everything for someone he loves. 

And this true for 26-year-old tattoo artist named Anthony Pimentel Jr.

Anthony is now offering a discounted tattoo works to earn enough money to save his younger brother. 

In an interview with Manila Bulletin Lifestyle, Anthony shares that his brother had an accident in Marilaque Highway. A place known for motor riders. 

“Binangga po yung kapatid ko ng kapwa po motor. Malubha po yung tama nya. Paralyzed po yung kalahati ng katawan nya kasi po nabasag po yung pelvic bone, yung kneecap, and shoulder (My brother was hit by another rider. He’s now in a serious condition. Half of his body is paralyzed, he has a broken pelvic bone, kneecap, and shoulder),” he says. “He also has six facial fractures. He’s now under observation if he has further head damage.”

With a father who’s only earning enough to sustain day to day expenses, Anthony’s family is dreading where to get enough money to save his brother. Then he decided to offer a tattoo for a cause service. In a discounted price of P1000, customer can already avail two tattoos.  

“My in laws lend me a spare room where I do tattoo service,” Anthony says. “I also offer home service.”

“Ngayon po naka-admit po siya sa Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical sa Marikina (My brother is currently admitted at Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical, Marikina),” he says.  “This is why I’m asking help to people because our hospital bill is expensive.” 

For initial amount, their family needs to P130,000 so they can proceed to his brother’s operation. For those who are not into tattoo, Anthony is knocking to everyone’s kind heart. 

“Kailangan po namin ng donation as soon as possible (We need your help and donation),” Anththony says in a shaking voice. “Kasi ngayon po pinapa-decide po kami ng hospital kung makakapagbayad daw po kami nung para sa bakal na gagamitin sa operation nya. Kung hindi po kasi idi-dicharge po nila yung kapatid ko (The hospital is asking us if we can provide the initial money needed for my brother’s treatment. If not, they said that they will be discharging my brother).”
