WATCH: Luis Manzano shares funny video of mom, Rep. Vilma Santos-Recto, at Bb. Pilipinas 2021

Kapamilya star Luis Manzano shared a funny video of his mom, Rep. Vilma Santos-Recto, which was recreated by a netizen during her appearance at the question-and-answer portion of the Bb. PIlipinas 2021 beauty pageant last Sunday.


At the 57th edition of the prestigious national pageant, Ate Vi appeared as a guest celebrity where she got to ask Binibini semifinalist Jashmin-Lyn Dimaculangan of Albay in the final Q&A round.


In the original video, Rep. Santos-Recto asked Dimaculangan: "So much has happened to us in the course of the year. When we emerge from this crisis, what positive change do you foresee happening to humanity in general?"

Dimaculangan replied: "Something positive I have witnessed in the pandemic is how resilient and adaptable people we are. We have been put through a lot this past year, but we find ways to help one another and find ways to help. At the end of the day, as long as we put our generosity and charity first, then together we can heal and we can get through this crisis."

But a netizen edited the dialogue of the politician and the Binibini. Manzano wrote on Instagram: "Momski @rosavilmasantosrecto , grabe naman, bakit umabot sa sumbatan? Tanong lang dapat Momski."


In the edited video, Rep Vilma said: "Sana noong umiinom ka ng alak, habang hinihithit mo ang sigarilyo mo, sana maisip mo rin, kung ilang pagkain ang tiniis kong hindi kinain. Habang nilulustay mo yung mga perang pinadala ko para makapagpadala lang ako ng malaking pera dito."


Dimaculangan answered: "Hindi mo ako naiintindihan. Hindi ko hiningi lahat lahat ng binigay ninyo sa akin. Kayo ang may gusto, hindi ako."


The dramatic dialogue was lifted from the 2000 drama "Anak" starring Santos-Recto and Claudine Barretto.

Dimaculangan, who saw the viral video, commented: "Omgg hahahaha this made my day!!"

The Bicolano beauty queen did not make it to the winner's circle, but she's definitely a hit as she shared the screen with the Star for All Seasons in the viral video.
