LOOK: Baron Geisler trains with Team Lakay

Famed Benguet stable Team Lakay has welcomed actor Baron Geisler to its camp for a friendly training and sparring session.

Team Lakay posted photos and videos on its Facebook page on Monday, July 12, which shows Geisler sparring with no less than coach Mark Sangiao.

"He (Geisler) was here ata ngayong (this) weekend for a project and he came to have a friendly spar with us," Sangiao told Manila Bulletin in a text message. "We heard lang that he really wants to train with us.

"Yes, we had a fun time and mukha namang nag-enjoy din siya, pinawisan siya (he seemed to enjoy, he had a good sweat)... kaunting practice pa and consistency, papasa siya (a little bit of practice and consistency and he will pass)."

Geisler was once infamously known when he faced co-actor Kiko Matos in a URCC match last June 2016.

The two-round match, however, ended in a draw.

From being the controversial personality, Geisler has since changed his public image for the good with Sangiao saying: "He is amiable and tried to develop a good rapport."
