A fire broke out in a stockroom of a hotel in Pasay City early Monday morning.
According to arson investigator FO1 Arnold Hidalgo, the fire hit the stockroom located on the second floor of Queensland Hotel on FB Harrison Street at about 1 a.m.
Hidalgo said a hotel guest on the second floor saw smoke billowing from the stockroom followed by a fire.
The room was used as storage room of the hotel where sacks of rice and other items were placed.
Hotel guests immediately went out of the building and no one was reported injured in the incident. The fire was placed under control at about 1:10 a.m.
The Pasay City Bureau of Fire and Protection, which is still conducting investigation to determine the cause of fire, estimated the damage to property to be worth P10,000.
