2 female drug pushers nabbed, P9M worth of ecstasy seized in QC

Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (IADITG) arrested on Monday, July 12, two female drug pushers and seized 5,637 pieces of ecstasy placed in a box of foot massager during an interdiction operation at the Quezon City Central Post Office.

PDEA RO-NCR Director Christian O Frivaldo and NAIA-IADITG Task Group Commander identified the suspects Ma. Isabella Albano and Jessica Muñoz both 27 years old.

He noted that the said parcel was claimed by the suspects and was declared as “children’s toys and apparel’’ from Germany.

Albano and Muñoz are now facing criminal charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Chito A. Chavez)
