RSG enters PH esports scene

Singapore-based multi-gaming organization Resurgence has set foot in the Philippine esports scene.

The organization announced its anticipated arrival through a video on its recently made Facebook page RSG PH on Friday night, July 9.

"Today we take a huge step forward on our path to greatness. RSG Philippines has arrived! #GGRSG #RSGPH," the organization said in the caption.

RSG PH is widely rumored as one of the participating teams in the upcoming MPL Philippines Season 8, which is reportedly set to implement a franchise-based model.

RSG features a squad each in the MPL Malaysia and MPL Singapore which both competed in the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia (MSC) 2021 ruled by Filipino team Execration.

RSG MY won the MPL Malaysia Season 7 while RSG SG finished runner-up behind EVOS SG in the inaugural MPL Singapore season.

RSG also has teams and players in League of Legends: Wild Rift, PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, Warcraft III: Reforged, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter V and E1 Championship.
