Julia Montes finally opens up on love life

Julia Montes recently confirmed what many have been speculating all along.

In a recent interview with Mega Entertainment, the former child star admitted she's in a relationship.

She stopped short of naming the lucky guy, though.

That said, she made clear he is for keeps.

In fact, Julia maintained that if the guy asks her to marry him at this moment, she would definitely say yes.

But why keep his identity secret?

According to Julia, it's a conscious decision.

"This time, gusto ko ‘yung akin, akin. So, ayoko lang i-share for the sake of, pa-mysterious lang," she teased.

“It’s more of I’m just protecting my own happiness," she added.

Julia noted how she has been facing a lot of pressure growing up and as such she doesn't want to be pressured anymore when it comes to matters of the heart.

"Growing up, ang dami ng pressure. Pero ‘yung lumaki ka sa children’s show na parang siyempre lumalaki kaming may mga pressures, gusto ko sa aspeto ng buhay ko na ‘to, walang pressure. ‘Yung taong involved, ako, ‘yun lang ‘yung importante, ‘yun lang ‘yung nagma-matter. Walang opinions ng ibang tao kasi hindi naman natin lahat mape-please. And that’s my point of view na parang ‘wag na natin stress-in ‘yung sarili natin sa labas. Ito ‘yung atin so let’s just be happy and enjoy,” she explained.

The young star also shared making the decision to keep the relationship private is something her beau shares.

"We chose this path," she said noting, they both believe that "Ang atin, atin."

"Pumasok tayo sa trabahong ‘to na magulo. ‘Wag na nating paguluhin pati ‘yung atin.’”

"It’s just a personal choice. Personal choice namin ‘yun. And for us kasi talaga, naniniwala kami ‘pag ano kasing nandiyan, sisirain. ‘Pag hindi kayo, ‘pag magka-love team kayo, gustong maging kayo. ‘Pag kayo, pagsisirain kayo. So, might as well, “O, anong alam niyo?’ Okay, kung anong alam niyo, okay po. ‘Yun na lang,” Julia added.

Of course, many believe that Julia's rumored boyfriend is Coco Martin.

In fact, early this year, they were spotted together while on a vacation trip.

Meanwhile, Coco sent media into a frenzy posting a photo on social media that showed a feeding bottle behind him.
