Here's another proof that MMDA traffic enforcers return lost wallets

Another lost wallet, another recovery by a Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) traffic enforcer. Oh, and thank goodness for Facebook in helping trace the wallet's owner.

Edison Bong Nebrija, MMDA's traffic czar along EDSA, shared on Wednesday night, June 30 a story about another lost wallet that could have easily been taken and kept by a random person in the ever-busy metropolis.

But two things happened in favor of the wallet's owner that ultimately led to him getting back his wallet. First, an honest MMDA enforcer managed to find his wallet. Second, he had a Facebook account.

"Nawala ni Kuya wallet nya sa Ayala eksakto napulot ng enforcer namin sa EDSA (This man lost his wallet in Ayala and it just so happened that one of our enforcers on EDSA found it). So we tried tracing him through FB and randomly messaged people with similar surname. Tsumamba sa isa kaya nalaman nya, imagine that (Luckily, one of those we messaged was him, that's why he found out. Imagine that)," narrated Nebrija.

This was not the first time that an MMDA enforcer turned over a lost wallet so that it could be returned to its rightful owner.

Nebrija didn't name the enforcer who found the wallet on EDSA, but he or she probably got a "turon" treat from the former for the admirable deed.
