Anta, the third largest sports brand in the world, has launched its sixth store in Metro Manila at the Ayala Mall TriNoma on Friday, June 18, which saw the release of its limited-edition colorways for Anta Nest, a collaboration with American designer Salehe Bembury.

The Anta Nest collection was launched last December in the hopes of encouraging the youth to embrace nature in an urban lifestyle with its avant-garde design.
Bembury took inspiration from a "picture of a bird breaking a hole through the egg's shell" for its design with the "nest" structure as the x-factor for its overall aesthetic and performance.

The "nest" structure also serves as the bridge for Bembury's advocacy in outdoor activities, synchronizing the connection between nature and fashion.
With its innovative design concept, Anta Nest also incorporates its natural elements with technology with its one-piece knitted mesh fitting soft and tight "as if in the arms of nature."
Not only it brings stability but comfort as the shoe becomes an easy fit for the foot which is ideal for outdoor activities.
"Twigs are very weak, but the moment they are woven into a nest, they become infinitely strong," said Bembury.

In the past few months, the Anta Nest had received social media buzz with reports coming from fashion media HYPEBEAST, ULSUM, and NOWRE, among others.
American actress and author Diane Guerrero and Canadian model, designer, and director Adrianne Ho also flexed their respective Anta Nest shoes on their social media channels.
Anta, the third-largest sports group in the world, has partnered with the Chinese Olympic Committee and the NBA China for years now.
In the NBA, Golden State Warriors star shooting guard Klay Thompson has a contract with Anta, dropping Anta KT6 in China last month.
With its sixth store opening in the Philippines, Anta continues to keep level with other sportswear brands with its design works and technological advancement in its shoe-making process.
