Sanya Lopez on Pia Wurtzbach's offer to train her as beauty queen

For the longest time, people have been pushing Sanya Lopez to join a beauty pageant.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach even actually offered to help train her.

“Whenever you’re ready, we’re here waiting for you,” Pia said in an interview.

Well, is she?

With Miss Universe Philippines recently opening its door to applicants, Sanya was asked if she is finally planning to make a go for it.

The dusky Bulakeña admitted with a smile that she was "flattered" to hear Pia's suggestion.

She said she wants to "try joining (a beauty pageant)" but not now.

Apparently, her current schedule prevents her from even considering the idea.

“As of now, I have lots of good projects with GMA so it’s hard,” she said in Filipino.

But she's not closing her door on the notion.

She shared, “If that's what fate has in store for me in the future, well, let's see..."

Sanya is currently busy with “First Yaya,” as with "Agimat Ng Agila."
