Pasay LGU inoculates 2,000 economic frontliners

A total of 2,000 persons under the A4 category or economic frontliners were inoculated in Pasay City’s Giga vaccination site located at the Galleon, SM Mall of Asia on Wednesday, June 9.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the economic frontliners were included in the vaccination of persons under A2 category (senior citizens) and A3 (adult with comorbidities) during the commitment ceremony and symbolic vaccination of persons under the A4 category on Monday, June 7.

Rubiano said a total 4,000 individuals, including those under the A4 category, were inoculated at the city’s Giga vaccination site on June 7 and 8.

She said the city government is also accepting walk-ins for A4 provided that they have complete documents to be submitted at the vaccination site.

The mayor said economic frontliners working in Pasay City but are non-residents must bring their company identification card (ID) indicating the company’s address in the city or certificate of employment. .

Rubiano said for workers working in small businesses and who do not have IDs must present at the vaccination site their business permits.

She said residents who work outside Pasay City must only present their ID showing their address in the city.
