The actress, TV host and chef recently shared on Instagram several photos of her taken while she was in high school.

She wrote, "Most people look back on their high school photos and are embarrassed. I’m not. As you can see, I was way ahead of my time in hair fashion."

She then thanked her son JP Villarama for sending her the photo.

Donita told him, "(I told you I was cool growing up.) Thank you for sending this to me!"

Celebrity friends were quick to comment on the post.
