HOW TRUE? Beauty queen Rabiya Mateo smitten by foreigner

Following her much-publicized split with boyfriend Neil Salvacion recently, Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo is now being linked to a foreigner.

Rumor has it that Rabiya met the foreigner during her stint at the 69th Miss Universe Competition in Hollywood, Florida in May.

It was learned that as soon as the foreigner saw Rabiya, he was smitten.

Sources also said that former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Andre Brouillette and Rabiya were only friends.

There are also rumors that Rabiya is set to join the Kapuso network.

Reports said that the Filipino beauty queen will sign up withÂ the network as soon as she arrives in Manila.

Jonas Gaffud, creative director of Miss Universe Philippines, who accompanied Rabiya in the US, said that Rabiya is expected to come home in July.

Gaffud said that Rabiya has been invited to grace several events in the US.

Rabiya finished in the top 21 of the 69th Miss Universe beauty pageant.
