K-pop idol group and Grammy nominee BTS’ new digital single “Butter” topped Billboard’s Hot 100, Global 200, Global Excl. US and Digital Song Sales charts for the second consecutive week, and even set an all-time Amazon Music record.

According to Billboard, BTS’ “Butter” reigned on top of Hot 100 again on the June 12-dated chart after debuting at No. 1 last week.

The Hot 100 chart is based on US streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data.

For the latest chart, “Butter” garnered 19.1 million US streams, down 41 percent from 32.3 million streams last week; and sold 140,200 downloads, down 42 percent from 242,800 downloads in its debut. It also had 22.4 million radio airplay audience impressions as of June 6, an increase of 24 percent from 18.1 million impressions as of May 30.

In addition, “Butter” is No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart for the second straight week.

“First two weeks at No. 1: ‘Butter’ is the 23rd title to debut at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and post a second consecutive week on top, among 54 total No. 1 arrivals, making for a 43% second-week success rate,” according to Billboard.

Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4 U" is No. 2 on Hot 100 for the second straight week after debuting at No. 1 on the chart.

“Butter” is BTS’ fourth song to top the Hot 100 chart after “Dynamite,” "Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)" with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo and “Life Goes On.”

In addition, “Butter” also maintained its No. 1 spot for the second straight week on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US, two charts that started last September and are based on streaming and sales from more than 200 territories in the world compiled by MRC Data.

“Chart rankings are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts' calculations,” according to Billboard.

On the latest Billboard Global 200 chart, “Butter” had 169.8 million streams and 73,300 sold worldwide from May 28 to June 3.

“The streaming sum is the second-greatest in a week dating to the Global 200's inception, following the 289.2 million that it logged in the May 21-27 tracking week following its May 21 release,” Billboard added.

On Billboard Global Excl. US, “Butter” garnered 151.3 million streams and 41,600 sold in markets outside the US from May 28 to June 3.

“As on the Global 200, the song boasts the second-best streaming sum so far on the Global Excl. US chart, following its arrival with 257.4 million outside the U.S. the week before,” wrote Billboard.

Meanwhile, Amazon Music tweeted that “Butter” set an all-time record as the song “received more first day and first week streams than any song in the history of Amazon Music.”
