Vianna Ricafranca hailed as 'Centerstage' Season 1 Ultimate Winner

In an epic vocal showdown, the young social media celebrity from Albay - Vianna Ricafranca - took home the title of being the first-ever Ultimate Winner of GMA Network’s kiddie singing competition ‘Centerstage’.

Following their sing-off of Ted Ito's "Maghintay Ka Lamang" in a four-way battle, the top four finalists were narrowed down to the final two, with Vianna and the young ukulele player from Bulacan, Oxy Dolorito, being chosen over Rain Barquin of Caloocan City and Colline Salazar of Las Piñas City.

Last night, Vianna bested Oxy during the ultimate one-on-one match where she performed her heartwarming and powerful rendition of "Kahit Isang Saglit" by Martin Nievera.

Centerstage judges Concert Queen Pops Fernandez, International Stage Performer and Soul Diva Aicelle Santos, and musical director Mel Villena ultimately picked the Bicol's pride.

Centerstage gave over PhP 2.5 million worth of prizes to all the four grand finalists, with each of them receiving a cash prize and a special gift. And as the grand champion, Vianna will also receive a house and lot from Bria Homes.

Fans and netizens alike took to social media their delight for the show’s finale episode as the hashtag ‘#CenterstageUltimateWinner’ took a spot in the Philippines Trends list.

Hosted by no less than Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards and co-host Kapuso comedian Betong Sumaya, Kapuso viewers are eager to have another season of ‘Centerstage’ soon.
