'Trese' billboards vandalized?

Netflix recently posted on social media photos of at least four "Trese" billboards, which bore curious writing in red all over.

Among these were the words: "Layas! Siyudad namin 'to!"

The streaming giant captioned their post: "What kind of monster would do this??? If you see something, say something — we're going to find out who did this."

Of course, it is obviously just a clever way to promote their upcoming adaptation of the popular comic book created by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo.

"Trese," which tackles Filipino mythical creatures is the country's first Netflix original anime show.

It will premiere on June 11.
