QC restaurants, business establishments offer discounts, incentives to COVID-vaccinated residents

More restaurants and establishments in Quezon City are offering discounts and incentives to residents who will get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Mayor Joy Belmonte thanked the city's business establishments that continuously support the programs of the city government.

“We are thankful to the businesses and the rest of the private sector for finding ways to support our programs, especially the QC Protektodo vaccination rollout,” Belmonte said.

“Patuloy ninyo kaming pinapahanga dahil kahit nakararanas ng matinding pagsubok ang inyong mga negosyo ay nag-aabot pa rin kayo ng tulong sa ating mga kababayan. Over 150 participating restaurants under the Ingat-Angat Bakuna Benefits program are offering exclusive discounts and incentives to people who are fully vaccinated and can present their vaccination cards.

As of Sunday (June 6), 333,773 individuals from the A1 to A3 priority groups have already received their first dose of the vaccine.

The figure is 19.63 percent of the 1.7 million target population needed to achieve herd immunity.

The city government is now preparing to vaccinate the A4 priority group, the frontliners who are living or working in the city.
