Las Pinas LGU joins virtual commitment ceremony, symbolic vaccination of A4

Las Pinas Vice-Mayor April Aguilar joined other Metro Manila mayors in the virtual commitment ceremony and symbolic vaccination of persons under the A4 category held at Pasay City’s Giga vaccination site in SM Mall of Asia via Zoom.

Aguilar said the city government had already prepared the master list of those persons under the A4 category and is just waiting for the guidelines from the national government.

She said the city government will immediately start the vaccination of those under the A4 category as soon as it receives a copy of the guidelines.

The vice-mayor appealed to residents to continue observing the health protocols being implemented and be part of the “Ligtas na Las Pinero, Lahat Bakunado” vaccination program.

To date, the city has vaccinated 57, 597 residents with their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 28,540 with the second dose.

She also encouraged those who have received their first dose to come back for their second dose to get the full protection against the virus.

Las Pinas recorded a total of 194 active cases, 45 of which are new.
