Kelra's Harith dazzles on international stage as Execration sweeps EVOS SG in MSC debut

Super rookie Duane "Kelra" Pillas came through with stellar performances on his signature Harith as Execration put on a 2-0 domination of Singaporean champion EVOS SG to open its campaign in the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021 on Monday, June 7.

Kelra went on a maniac kill streak in the winning team fight near the pit to foil EVOS' Lord attempt with the help of Kiel VJ "Kielvj" Hernandez's Benedetta and eventually spark Execration's 15-12 comeback win in Game 1.

The 16-year-old gold laner put up nine kills and five assists for a 93 percent kill participation against three deaths as he dealt over 68K damage in the 18-minute opener.

Kelra sustained his fiery form with the Time Traveler in Game 2. racking up a perfect record of seven kills and eight assists after unloading over 64K damage to fuel the MPL Philippines runner-up's 18-6 rout in 15 minutes.

Team veterans Patrick "E2MAX" Caidic on Selena (5-1-6 kill-death-assist) and Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog on Jawhead (3-2-9) were also instrumental in closing out the inaugural MPL-SG champs.

Through a winning start in Group D, Execration moved within reach of an MSC playoffs upper bracket seat.

A win over Nightmare Esports of Laos at 12 noon on Tuesday will lift coach Jomie "Pakba1ts" Abalos and Billy "Z4pnu" Alfonso's crew to the winners' bracket.

EVOS SG will be on a must-win situation versus Nightmare to advance to the playoffs.
