Fastfood worker, driver, journalists lead 35 million A4 group's vaccination in Pasay City's Giga site
A fast food worker, a truck driver, and journalists led Monday's vaccine rollout for 35 million workers belonging to the A4 priority group or the economic frontliners, according to Mayor Emi Calixto- Rubiano.

“The vaccination of those from the A4 sector is significant because they make up the backbone of our economy,” Rubiano said.
She urged everyone to support the government’s vaccination program while also highlighting its significance.
“The start of your vaccination means we are fighting the virus head on, and it also means the government, under President Duterte is committed to defeat the scourge,” she added.
"Kaya ang message ko para (My message to the) sa private sector ay magpabakuna na agad ( is to get vaccinated immediately) because vaccination will save your life,” Rubiano said.
“Welcome to Pasay, let us heal as one. Kung anuman po ang aking maipaglilingkod sa inyo ay nakabukas ang aking tanggapan para sumuporta sa inyong lahat,( Whatever help I can give, my office will give it)," Rubiano said as she joined government officials led by Sec. Harry Roque, Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello, and the country’s business leaders, including Hans Sy of SM Group, Fernando Zobel de Ayala of Ayala Malls.
Those who are included in the A4 category are workers who are physically required to go on site to work, whether they are from the government, informal, and even household sectors.
“This is a game changer in our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. We want our workers to be safe while they return to work,” Roque said.
