Local stars join 'jollitowel' issue

Some celebrities have reacted to the viral "jollitowel" matter.

Recall that a mother who ordered food delivery from a fast-food chain was shocked when her order of fried chicken turned out to be a “fried towel.”

However, the popular local brand quickly issued a statement saying that they have investigated the incident in one of theirt franchise stores.

The complainant sought the assistance of Raffy Tulfo. It received mixed reactions.

Ogie Diaz wrote on Facebook that he still loves the fast-food chain and quipped he would only be disturbed with "fried blanket."

Angeline Quinto echoed the same sentiment, noting Jollibee will always be her "favorite."

Regine Velasquez, on the other hand, reiterated her support to the fast-food chain by posting a snap of her and the store's mascot.

The wife of Ogie Alcasid also noted how life is full of challenges and surprises.

Maja Salvador, current endorser of Jollibee Burger Steak, expressed her feelings with "I love you" words she tagged the company's social media account.
