Gabbi hits rampage as TNC Predator batters Beastcoast and Nigma in AniMajor

Filipino carry Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte went ham in the second day of the WePlay AniMajor group stage as TNC Predator pummeled Beastcoast and Team Nigma both via 2-0 sweep to boost its playoff bid in the Dota 2 Major in Kiev, Ukraine.

The 11K MMR carry Gabbi on Phantom Assassin scored a rampage and almost made it a double to close out Beastcoast with a 28-14 rout in just 25 minutes on Saturday night, June 5 (PH time).

TNC set the tone for an impending demolition of Beastcoast with a 29-minute 26-4 romp in Game 1 behind the huge Ravages from Jun "Bok" Kanehara's Tidehunter.

Come the closing series early Sunday, mid laner Armel "Armel" Tabios and Gabbi proved that TNC is indeed a bane to ex-OG star and Nigma standout Amer "Miracle-" Barkawi.

Armel's sneaky Puck came through with an ultra kill in a massive team fight that sparked the Filipinos' 48-minute comeback victory over Miracle and Nigma in Game 1.

It was Gabbi's carry Magnus that wreaked havoc in Game 2 despite Miracle having his signature Invoker as TNC completed a stunner over The International 2017 champions.

With the two straight wins, TNC forged a four-team deadlock at No. 2 with Nigma, Evil Geniuses and Vici Gaming on similar 5-3 records, behind current leader PSG.LGD (6-2).

The all-Filipino squad will look to finish in the top six which grants a spot in the playoffs, with the two best teams going straight to the upper bracket. The bottom two will get eliminated.

TNC will continue its playoff push against Chinese powerhouse PSG.LGD later at 7 p.m. followed by a match versus European side Team Liquid at around 11 p.m.
