Celine Pialago has sweet birthday greeting for her 'parentals'

Give your parents their flowers while they are still around to smell them.

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Assistant Secretary Celine Pialago didn't hold back in expressing her affection for her parents Sunday, June 6, which incidentally was both her mom and dad's birthday.

"Happy Birthday Mommy Rosalinda Amor Burce and Daddy Danilo Carin Pialago Gusto ko lang ipagsigawan sa buong mundo na sobra ko kayong mahal at sobra akong nagpapasalamat sa pagsuporta niyo sa lahat ng desisyon ko sa buhay at sa walang sawang pagmamahal (I want to shout out to the world how much I love the two of you and how thankful I am for your support in every decision I make in life, on top of loving me tirelessly)," the MMDA spokesperson wrote on her Facebook.

Asec. Pialago tagged both parents in her post and uploaded a selfie with each of them.

"The best kayo! (You two are the best!) More Birthdays mommy and daddy! I love you both. Soooooooo much! " added the 30-year-old lady official, who is among the more familiar faces of the current administration.

Her sweet greeting for her "parentals" has collected over 4,000 likes as of this posting.

Asec. Pialago, a former journalist, was appointed to her current position by President Duterte in August 2018.

Her tasks in government continue to grow both in scale and in importance. Last month, she was designated as one of the eight spokespersons of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC), particularly on public affairs and information, and youth concerns.

Lately, Celine has also been visible in the outreach projects of the Malasakit Movement, a non-government organization that she founded a few years back. She now acts as the group's "ambassadress".
