Blacklist International wants revenge against EVOS Indo, eager to face fellow champs in MSC

MPL Philippines Season 7 champion Blacklist International is keen on facing its fellow MPL titlists from other countries in the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021.

In the post-championship media interview following its exhilarating 4-3 comeback victory against Execration last week, coach Kristoffer "BON CHAN" Ricaplaza's Agents bared that they want to get a sweet revenge against MPL Indonesia S7 winner EVOS Legends which beat them in a scrim.

Blacklist is also looking forward to taking on newly-crowned MPL Malaysia king Resurgence MY as well as inaugural MPL Singapore champ EVOS SG and former MY/SG winner Todak in the regional league.

But the Tier One Entertainment-backed crew led by Jonmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna will only get their wish to test their mettle against fellow champions in the region once they make it to the playoffs.

The champs were placed in different groups, with Blacklist in Group C, RSG in A, EVOS Legends in B and EVOS SG in D.

Nevertheless, Blacklist is heavily favored to dominate its group which also has Indonesian runner-up Bigetron Alpha and Cambodia's M2 World Championship representative Impunity KH.

OhMyV333nus and the gang will start their MSC campaign on Monday, June 7 versus Bigetron at 2 p.m.

Meanwhile, MPL-PH silver finisher Execration will also commence its bid for international glory on Monday against EVOS SG in Group D at 4 p.m. The group also has non-MPL team Nightmare of Laos.

The group stage of the $150,000 (over P7 million) tournament will be held from June 7 to 9, with the top two teams from each of the four groups advancing to the playoffs on June 11 to 13.
