A total of one million doses of CoronaVac vaccines manufactured by Sinovac Biotech will be delivered to the country on Sunday morning, June 6, the ninth shipment of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) jabs to be transported by China to the country.

Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., vaccine czar and chief implementer of the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19, is expected to grace the arrival of the Sinovac jabs at Terminal 2 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City.
The shipment will be fetched from Beijing via Cebu Pacific flight 5J671. The plane is estimated to land at NAIA around 7:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, the vaccines will be transported to a cold storage facility operated by the Pharmaserv Express, Inc. in Marikina City where it will be stored prior to distribution.
Once delivered, the total vaccine supply will increase to 9,329,500.
More than half of the vaccine inventory is composed up of Sinovac's CoronaVac. Prior to Sunday's delivery, a total of 5.5 million doses have already been received by the country from China.
The Sinovac jabs will be used for the vaccine rollout of A4 and A5 priorities, or the economic and government frontliners and indigent population, on June 7, Galvez said on June 2.
