The time John Lloyd Cruz shouldered Bea Alonzo's expenses in Dubai

Bea Alonzo recently took to social media to reveal the generosity of her constant reel partner.

In a recent vlog, the 33-year-old actress shared how she and her mom Mary Anne went to the United Arab Emirates for the first time to do a show some years ago.

There, her mother happily splurged at Gold Souk, the largest and oldest gold market in Dubai.

Unfortunately, Mary Anne didn't realize she had used all of their cash.

Good thing, John Lloyd was there.

The matinee idol shouldered all the expenses they incurred for the rest of their stay, including meals.

But Bea noted she immediately paid John Lloyd when they went back to Manila.

"After that, nag-apply na kami ng credit card... lesson learned ni mama, dapat sa first day, hindi mo muna ginagastos lahat ng pera mo (After that we applied for a credit card. The lesson my mama learned? You shouldn't spend all of your money on your first day abroad)," she quipped.
