The repair of certain road sections of two main highways in the Metro Manila will resume over the coming weekend, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said.

The affected sections of the Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Circumferential Road 5 (C5) in Quezon City will be closed starting 11 p.m., Friday, June 4, to allow for the activities.
According to DPWH–National Capital Region (NCR) Director Eric A. Ayapana, repairs will resume at the northbound direction of EDSA, near corner Kaingin Road.
Similar works are also scheduled along C5 Road starting from after Rajah Matanda, third lane from sidewalk; after Highland Drive, second lane from sidewalk; and after Shuster Street, second lane from sidewalk.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes due to the expected temporary traffic slowdown in the affected areas.
The road sections will be reopened at 5 a.m., Monday, June 7.
