Madonna celebrates 90th birth anniversary of dad in Michigan

Pop star Madonna flew out of her home state in Michigan to celebrate the 90th birth anniversary of her father Silvio Ciccone.

On Instagram June 4, the "Material Girl" was joined in by five of her six children during festivities for her father held at the family's vineyard in Sutton's Bay.

Madonna shared snaps from the trip, as she honored her father who "taught me the importance of hard work and earning one’s way in life."

The "Crazy For You" singer also gushed her father "who lived through many traumas."

"My father is a survivor, growing up as an Italian Immigrant in the US and living through many traumas but always working hard for everything he had.

"He taught me the importance of hard work and earning one’s way in life.
