Juliana Parizcova Segovia shares stand on transgender women joining beauty pageants
June is Pride Month.
Talk about transgender women joining beauty pageants created mainly for “natural born” women is a huge issue once again.
Miss Q&A titleholder Juliana Parizcova Segovia doesn't like the idea.

According to Juliana, a prominent member of the LGBTQ+ community, there are other, more appropriate platforms for them.
“Kung transgender kang contestant sa Miss Gay Barangayan at may sasali na tunay na babae, di ba magrereklamo ka? (As a transgender, wouldn't you complain when you find out that a natural born woman will join Miss Gay Barangayan?)”
“Meron naman kaming sariling laban like Miss International Queen in Thailand na puwedeng paingayin at bigyan ng focus by holding a Miss Philippines International Queen local edition bago isabak sa Thailand (We have our own Miss International Queen in Thailand. I think we should just highlight it by holding a local edition),” Juliana added.
Prior, candidates of Miss Philippines Earth have also expressed opposition to the idea.
