Raven's Spectre carries Fnatic past Smart Omega in TI10 SEA qualifier

Filipino star carry Polo "Raven" Fausto went absolutely ham on his Spectre as he powered Fnatic over the pesky Smart Omega, 2-1, and into The International 10 (TI10) Southeast Asia Qualifier upper bracket semifinals on Wednesday night, June 30.

Raven's uber-farmed Spectre with a 37K net worth racked up 17 kills and 18 assists against only two deaths to ignite the Malaysia-based powerhouse team's 36-25 victory in 37 minutes in the deciding Game 3.

Omega was able to pick off Raven in the 33rd minute but the 11K MMR carry saved a buyback and casted his Haunt back into the pivotal clash wherein Ng "ChYuan" Kee Chyuan's Puck caught four heroes with Dream Coil.

Raven hit a triple kill in the five-man team wipe and it was all Fnatic from there as Omega started to crumble.

The 22-year-old position-1 player also fueled Fnatic's 35-minute triumph in Game 1 with his monstrous Medusa finishing with a perfect record of seven kills and six assists.

Fnatic, which also has Filipino captain Djardel "Dj" Mampusti, cruised to the next round of the upper bracket to face the winner OB. Neon Esports and Motivate.Trust Gaming which are squaring off at posting time.

Omega's thrilling 65-minute win in Game 2 behind Mark "Shanks" Redira's Lina went down the drain as the all-Filipino crew slid to the lower bracket where they will fight for their TI10 hopes against Galaxy Racer.

Earlier, Cignal Ultra advanced to the lower bracket second round at the expense of fellow PH squad ex-South Built Esports, 2-0.

Denz Daryll "Abat" Anedez and the boys in red will next take on the loser of the Neon-MG Trust match.
