Here's how to shop for children's books at the Big Bad Wolf sale

Moms have always gone crazy over books for their children—anything to make learning fun for them, right? Education, as they say, is priceless; but it doesn't hurt if we get to save a little.

We know everyone misses the annual Big Bad Wolf event, especially since it wasn't able to mount one last year. Great news, it's back this year from June 30 to July 7. With over 60,000 titles and up to 95 percent off, everyone will be online to check out the great deals that the "wolf" has to offer.

But first things first, let's get organized. And tops on every parent's list are the children's books we need to purchase for our growing kids of all ages. Here's what to expect.



There's a category on Children's Books including activity books, board books, comics, reading books, picture books, pop-up books, children's reference, children's religion, sound books, and work books. Another category is the popular collections such as Frozen, Harry Potter, My Little Pony, Peppa Pig, PJ Masks, and Star Wars. Not sure which books to get? Try browsing by age group from 0-3 years old, 3-5 years old, 6-8 years old, and 9-12 years old. They also have augmented reality books to bring your books to life with the help of your tablet.

Teenage and young adult books are also available, with a new arrivals category for you to check out everyday. They also have over 70 box sets, up to 82 percent off, that are usually hoarded by parents from past book sales.

Once you're done choosing the books you need for your whole family, check out their budol books/promotion tab. Spend at least P1,800 and you'll get any of these books for only P10.

And the best news of all? Unlike the actual Big Bad Wolf sale events where parents usually have a hard time looking for specific titles, you can just use the search option and type away any of the following—keywords, title, author, or ISBN number. This makes it easier to shop and move on to other book titles that you're looking for. Even better, make it a family activity and have your children shop beside you. Giving them the freedom to choose makes your purchases worth even more. No books will be left unopened for sure.

1. Encode “BBWPH10%” and get 10 percent off for a minimum purchase of P5,000.
2. Key in “BBWPH5%” to avail of five percent off for a minimum purchase of P1,200.
