Cordillera cop donates breastmilk for babies whose moms have lactating problems
Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), commended on Wednesday, June 30, a policewoman who donated breastmilk for babies in need in Baguio City.
Eleazar said the good deed of Police Corporal Aimarie Boadilla is another proof that the PNP has never run out of good deeds even if they are no longer part of their mandate.
"Police Corporal Aimarie Boadilla of the Camdas Police Station showed a unique way to provide public service by donating breastmilk for infants whose mothers are unable to breastfeed them or cannot lactate," said Eleazar.
What Boadilla showed, according to Eleazar, was the real meaning of public service, especially that her donation is already beyond the call of police duty.
Eleazar said he is hoping that other police officers would be inspired by Boadilla’s service to others, even as he assured that the policewoman will be given due recognition for her good deed.
Let us show to the people that the PNP is ready to provide help for any kind of assistance," said Eleazar.
