Another case of botched vaccination reported in Mandaluyong

Another botched case of vaccination was reported in the city of Mandaluyong on Tuesday.

In a viral video circulating online, another nurse/volunteer failed to administer the contents of the syringe during a vaccination.

The incident reportedly happened last June 11 in Mandaluyong City.

Mandaluyong City Health Office Chief Dr. Alex Sta. Maria said that the incident was already reported to the city's Disciplinary Committee for further investigation and that the person involved in the incident is currently being investigated.

"We will respect the procedure and will wait for the resolution of the committee. In the meantime, we will refrain from making any comment which could affect public perception or the result of the investigation," Sta. Maria added.

The victim said he has no plans to sue the local government, adding that he later received proper vaccination from the LGU.
