Why Mona wasn't seen for the longest time in sister Ivana Alawi's vlog

It has been some time since we last saw the 17-year-old in Ivana Alawi's vlog.

Now we know why.

The two appeared together in Ivana's most recent vlog to explain things to fans.

In there, Ivana shared that her sister has an ongoing health issue.

Mona added that she was recently diagnosed with diabetic neuropathy (a type of nerve damage that can occur if you have diabetes).

This was after she was able to control her sugar level in ten years.

No need to worry though as Mona said it was just a natural reaction because of drastic change in her body.

Mona assured fans things will get better.

"May gamot siya but it will take some time para umokay ako,” was how she put it.

Ivana noted how Mona was hospitalized several times for the past months.
