Rabiya Mateo searching for father in US

Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) titlist Rabiya Mateo wants to stay a bit longer in the US.

It's her first time outside of the Philippines and she wants to make the most out of it.

Also, she's planning to get in touch with her dad.

"I'm actually doing some steps, and I have numbers na rin of my possible dad," she revealed in a virtual interview with Boy Abunda. "But every time I try to ring it, they're not answering. So let's see in the coming days... I know I'm going to meet him."

In there, Rabiya also made clear she doesn't hate her father even if he abandoned them.

"I still love him and I still long for him," she declared, adding all is in the past.

Rabiya opened up about her Indian dad to the public last year via social media.
