Honest PCG personnel lauded for returning P185K cash, cellphone to OFW
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel honored on Thursday, June 3, one of its personnel who returned a large amount of money and a cellphone, which he found while on duty at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
PCG Seaman Second Class (SN2) Ramir Greg Locsin returned the lost wallet containing P185,000 and a cellular phone to its OFW owner Joliza Wanason from Saudi Arabia, according to Commander Jimmy Oliver Vingno, PCG Task Force Unit Airport One-Stop Shop (OSS) commander at the NAIA Terminal 1.

“Locsin's dedication to his tasks, professionalism, devotion, and integrity to public service significantly contributed to the pride of this unit and the whole Philippine Coast Guard organization," Vingno said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Wanason expressed her gratitude to the PCG personnel for “exhibiting impressive professionalism, especially in this time of pandemic.”
